Matt Dustin has been working in the fitness industry since 2012 when he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Towson University.
During his senior year, he interned at the Under Armour Performance Center in Baltimore, MD, working with athletes and clients of all ages and skill levels, and started a fitness blog. He spent several years working at a high-end gym in Maryland and training clients online, before moving to San Diego, CA in 2015.
In San Diego, he spent his time working at a sports physical therapy clinic, where he developed rehab programs with physical therapists and worked with clients in the strength room. During this time, he also trained a handful of fitness clients at a private personal training studio.
In 2017, he moved fully online to work for the nutrition company Stronger U, where he worked with hundreds of clients from all walks of life, and eventually spent time as a coach mentor, helping the new coaches with their clients. He left in 2021 to work for Ripped Body.
Matt has always been a writer, and he’s been published in many major fitness outlets, like Bodybuilding.com, T-Nation, EliteFTS, and Sports Illustrated. He’s authored three nutrition books published through Simon & Schuster.
In addition to coaching at Ripped Body, he works as a copywriter and ghostwriter for some of the biggest brands and names in the fitness industry.
Matt currently lives in Las Vegas, NV, and aside from lifting, loves reading, traveling, watching sports (Baseball and Football), collecting tattoos, and spending time with his girlfriend and dog.
