Andy started Ripped Body in 2011 after becoming frustrated with the scams circulating in the fitness industry.
Since then, he’s coached over 2,000 clients and co-authored The Muscle and Strength Pyramid books — bestsellers that have become required reading for personal trainers around the world. But what matters more is this: he’s built a coaching system that consistently delivers results for busy men who don’t have time to screw around.
Andy is from Birmingham, UK, but has lived in Japan for the last twenty years. He oversees all client coaching at Ripped Body. When he’s not working with clients or mentoring coaches, you’ll find him cycling in the mountains, snowboarding, scuba diving, or reading a biography.

Matt holds a degree in Exercise Science and has been coaching since 2012. His early career was hands-on — from working with athletes at the Under Armour Performance Center in Baltimore, to helping patients rehab injuries in a sports physical therapy clinic in San Diego.
Along the way, he realized something: most people don’t need more complexity. They need clarity. That insight shaped his coaching philosophy — simple, effective plans tailored to real life.
Matt has worked with hundreds of clients online over the past decade, helping busy professionals implement structured, sustainable systems that deliver results — without taking over their lives.
He’s also an accomplished writer. He’s the author of three books on nutrition and performance published through Simon & Schuster, and his work has appeared in Men’s Health, Sports Illustrated, and Bodybuilding.com.
Clients appreciate Matt’s calm, structured approach and his ability to cut through the noise with evidence-based advice that works — even when life gets chaotic.
He lives in Las Vegas with his girlfriend and their dog, and when he’s not coaching, you’ll find him lifting, reading, watching baseball and football, or exploring the desert trails.

Sam didn’t take the standard route into coaching — and that’s what makes him so effective.
It started with a bad experience: after hiring a flashy online coach he found on Instagram, Sam followed a starvation-level plan that left him lean… and miserable. No feedback. No guidance. No next step. He rebounded hard — and promised himself he’d never do that to anyone else.
So, he studied, trained, and learned from the right people. Over the next four years, he coached 200+ clients and built a reputation for empathy, precision, and lasting results.
In 2023, personal tragedy struck, and Sam stepped away from coaching to heal and recalibrate.
Eventually, the itch returned. Now, he brings sharp focus and hard-earned perspective to the Ripped Body team, helping clients avoid the mistakes he once made and build a path that works.
