My coaching clients are studs. Superstars in their own rights, grinders that get the work done. They’re successful in other areas of their lives, and they seek me out to get their physique goals nailed.
They could figure out the nutrition and training puzzle by themselves, but they realize the value in hiring an experienced professional — optimized results, the frustration and guesswork taken out of getting them.
If you are willing to push your comfort zone to make a lasting change, I am the man with the proven track record to show you how. To find out how to get into my select group of one on one coaching clients, keep reading.
Access to the coach of your choice, without being constrained by location.
The choice that most of us face when seeking out coaching is not between working with a world class coach online or in person. It is between working with someone world class online, or whoever is available locally.
Whether this matters depends on what you are after from your coaching.
If you are looking for someone to motivate you through your workouts, show you correct form, or diagnose and correct some imbalances or injuries, then seeking out an in-person coach is definitely the way to go. Everything else can be done equally well online, but you get access to anyone in the world this way, and therefore the standard can be much higher.
Time is precious, are you making the most of it?
People waste far too much time chasing their physique goals. Getting coached takes the frustration and guesswork out of things, which is going to make you a lot more productive in the other areas of your life.
Almost all successful people have had coaches, regardless of their field. So, if you are serious about getting your physique goals nailed then I feel it’s worth considering hiring someone, even if only once.
There is a critical difference between having knowledge, and having the experience to know what to do with it and when.
The Initial Set-up
The aim of this set up phase is to get you making the fastest possible progress towards your goals. During the application process we’ll have a deep initial discussion of goals and plans. If you choose to become a client the initial set-up guidance will cover:
Ongoing Guidance, Support, Accountability and Motivation
Any training and diet plan will produce results for a time. But as we progress our training and dietary needs change and they need to be adapted. This is where the real skill of coaching comes in, it’s key to the whole process which is why I wrote a book about it.
I’ve worked hard to improve the way I coach over the last six years, both in terms of style and thoroughness of the information that I deliver. The continuation of this makes my life easier, gives better results, and leads to happier clients.
I have narrowed the subset of clientele I take on, which makes me very good at that niche. Though you may consider your personal situation a puzzle, it’s highly likely that I’ve worked with someone in a similar position before and guided them through it.
“Andy is able to write articles, debate, rub shoulders with, and coach right alongside experts with decades of formal education and tons of experience. His critical thinking skills, the ability to self-teach, and his drive to learn that allow him to do this are rare indeed.”
The majority are physique-focussed individuals, most of whom are looking to lose fat. However, I’ve worked with people in all different kinds of sports and physical professions. (More specifics on this in the coaching FAQ.)
This starts with the requirements below, which keeps me working with people inside of my skill set. Further to that, if I don’t think that we can get it to work given your current set of circumstances, or if I think you need to just make a simple change rather than hire me, I’ll tell you.
My coaching is exceptionally thorough. If you aren’t prepared to focus on long and detailed emails, my coaching is not for you. If you demonstrate an inability to do so during the application process I will decline to work with you.
I do not make exceptions. Reasons for each in the FAQ below.
The No-Smartphone Policy
If you wish to work with me, don’t read or respond to email from me from your phone. This is a non-negotiable point.
Consultations take place via e-mail as I’ve found this to work by far the best. Our e-mails form a valuable written record and reference tool.
Aside from the difficulties of being able to work with spreadsheets, rename, resize and attach files, and it screwing up the formatting of the email chain, phones simply cripple the communication process because they make otherwise intelligent people unable to focus when reading and responding to carefully written e-mails. Eliminating phones fixes this.
“I very rarely endorse other trainers because I have extremely meticulous standards but I can honestly say, Andy’s training packages for his clients are unparalleled from anything else I have ever seen in terms of online training. He genuinely blew me away.”
The client intake process I have developed is purposefully detailed. We’ll find out if we get along and are a good fit before any commitments are made, and this leads to better results, happier clients, more referrals, and greater job satisfaction.
Apply to the waiting list
(The form is below)
I’ll send you an application form when your turn arrives in the queue.
I’ll make a suggestion/prediction based on your goals, current physique, and training experience.
You’ll tell me your thoughts. If we agree on things I’ll then send over pricing information.
If the coaching offer and pricing is acceptable we’ll move forward. If not, just decline.
Start of coaching.
For any question regarding the reasons for the coaching requirements please see this page.
Three months minimum commitment coaching from me, a lifetime to yourself. Average client retention time is currently 5 months. You’ll need to check in every two weeks on Saturdays via email, attaching the tracking spreadsheet that we’ll use to log body measurements, weight, and training data. You’ll need to write me a brief email letting me know how you feel you’re getting on, and any concerns you have.
My monthly fee is around the cost of an average new car payment. Pricing is the same for all, however, I would like to have a conversation and make a suggestion and prediction for you first before discussing specifics. This helps us to see if we are compatible and will get along, and it helps me to demonstrate value and how thorough I am.
There’s no obligation to work with me after applying. However, if you are choosing a coach based on price, I will not be the cheapest.
It helps me to distinguish myself and demonstrate to you how thorough I am. It stops people from coach shopping based on price. I want to work with people that have decided they want to work with me after reading my work.
I use a PayPal business account. It’s a simple, secure, and efficient system for both you and I to set up recurring bi-weekly payments.
Fat loss happens quicker than muscle growth. Therefore, those primarily focused on fat loss will see faster changes than those focused on muscle growth. I’m good at making initial estimations appropriate calorie and training setting, however, it takes me longer to get things right for some people than others. This is because metabolic variability to calorie surplus or deficit conditions differs between individuals. For this reason, I don’t do one-off consultations. Adjustments, as you progress and adapt, are essential to continued success.
Recreational physique-focussed trainees make up the majority of clients. Coaches and personal trainers make up the second largest category. Military, MMA/BJJ competitors, actors, physique magazine models, and a few stage-competing bodybuilders (drug free, regional-level).
Absolutely. These will all be discussed before you become a client.
I have been around gyms for a better part of the last decade, and I have worked with coaches as well as coached people myself in Olympic lifting. I think the confidence you inspire in the client is unparalleled, and that’s probably the most important aspect of the coach-client relationship, you made me trust you as a coach 100%
The process involved hard work and struggle, under Andy’s guidance most stumbling blocks were sidestepped relatively easily, and overall the journey felt like smooth sailing. He reassured me when I was being too hard on myself as well as nudging me to tighten things up when I started slacking off. I really got a sense of his extensive client experience and expertise.
The flexible approach Andy took to this allowed me to fit the diet and training around my life allowing me to enjoy a holiday without guilt (and much weight gain) which in turn helped with my motivation. Andy’s been a drill sergeant and also a shoulder to cry on during this process and in my opinion has went a bit above and beyond what you would expect from someone coaching you online and for that I am genuinely grateful.
I consider myself very fortunate to have found your material online and to have had you as my coach. There is a lot of misinformation out there and I found your approach to be very straightforward as well as refreshing! I didn’t have to second guess myself because I knew I could rely on your expertise and the proof was definitely in the pudding.
I loved being able to put everything into your hands, that way I didn’t have to stress with my nutrition or training. The way you have everything set up with the excel file for organization, monthly pics, communication thread of emails, and your willingness to answer every question I had was amazing.
I can honestly say at this moment – as I sit here typing – this is the strongest, leanest, and most jacked I’ve ever been. I feel I have walked away with some great knowledge on making macro adjustments, as well as some new tracking methods I plan to implement for my own personal “check-ins” going forward.
I am a big subscriber to the idea that if you give a man a fish you feed him for a day, but teach him how to fish you feed him for a lifetime. I feel like I got some serious fishing lessons through this entire thing. I used to obsess over logging every single calorie when dieting, but this has taught me that consistency in the diet, combined with detailed tracking, is key, not so much 100% caloric adherence. This makes dieting a whole lot easier.
According to my test results after working with you, my A1c went down from pre-diabetic (5.8) to ok (5.6), my LDL went down from 150 to 142, my HDL went up from 61 to 70 (very good), my PSA went down, etc. Please tell your folks that, based on my experience at least, your program isn’t just about getting them the aesthetic results that they want. It’s also about improving the quality of life and living a longer healthier life.Time to celebrate my results with a pizza and beer!
I am very pleased with the training experience. You were always very responsive and attentive. You knew to say the right words at the right time, and made me feel that every question is a legitimate one. You helped me achieve my lowest weight in the last 8-9 years, and I feel very comfortable in knowing where should I head from here in order to be as lean as I want.
Keep myself accountable, learning how to track, and seeing that I could eat “big” while cutting weight has finally taught me to follow all the advice I have been reading from some time. I know I don’t have to make drastic cuts to make weight and, more importantly, I can eat in a manner that is against all sports performance advice and STILL be able to perform in competition at a high level.
I feel GREAT about my progress, and wish I would have found you years ago. I’m stronger than I’ve ever been, look better than I ever have, and feel amazing. I will stick with this training and nutrition regimen for the rest of my life, and am thankful for all the info you gave me to keep tailoring it to my goals as they change. Thanks again, man. Really mean it.
This has been by far the easiest program that I have followed in terms of adherence. In the past I have restrained myself to “clean” foods only, strict paleo, etc. all totalitarian programs that are difficult to stick to. Your “relax, it’ll be okay” system has been a breath of fresh air and doesn’t make me a social pariah who can’t enjoy a drink or a family meal on a special occasion. And it produced better results than the other programs as well.
I found that the coaching made me less anxious and more confident in what I was following, your support made things easier. There were many lessons learned, but for me the training insights were the best. I greatly improved my knowledge about the basics with your guidance. Also, not counting trace macros was awesome, made me less neurotic. Rippedbody.com is my preferred fitness source of the internet, thank you for the coaching experience.
I think I mentioned I started over a year ago at 212 lbs so to now be at 167 lbs and 11-12ish% BF feels fantastic. Also, I think I am the most muscular and leanest I have been as an adult. It’s always been a goal of mine to have a visible six-pack and this is the first time I have actually achieved that goal. So it’s fantastic!
Andy – It’s crazy how fast 12 weeks can go. I surely enjoyed working with you and have gained the confidence in the nutrition plan and training that I was looking for! Thank you for helping me get in the best shape of my life.
I have managed to produce some good results in that short period but more importantly my knowledge/skill in counting macros and training in general has increased immensely, so the future looks bright. There is so much noise out there and felt it was valuable to stop and be brought back to basics.
A really important thing that I learned while working with Andy is to have patience and stay the course. I have full confidence now that I will be able to maintain and achieve my training and physique goals because I feel that you were not only a great coach, but gave me the tools to become training/nutrition independent moving forward.
I’ve finally achieved some of the success I’ve been trying so hard for years to attain! I know this is only the beginning, and I know now that there is no reason why I cannot accomplish my goals. I’m already reaping the benefits, too. Perhaps I should add another column to the spreadsheet to track the average number of heads I turn per week, because I have definitely been getting more of that kind of attention since dropping losing this weight!
Andy, I wanted to reiterate how changed I feel after our time together, wow do I look and feel different. Thanks. The best part is, I’m leaving with the knowledge of how to continue this on my own, which really underscores the mark of a great coach. Thanks for all the guidance.
This was the best fitness experience I ever had and I didn’t know I had the discipline to follow through. Thanks for providing me the simplified guidelines, detailed instructions, answers to my questions and giving me the much needed confidence to follow through this.
To anyone who might be questioning whether or not to hire Andy, just do it. It was by far the best money I’ve spent. Plus, Andy’s help got me through the toughest time of the year for people: the holidays. Not just that, but I also dealt with a weekend vacation with my family, getting sick for a week, and a back injury in addition to Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the New Year. So don’t let your busy schedule serve as an excuse to stop you.
I found the experience of working with you extremely rewarding. No more yoyo-ing between diets and training types. No more guilt or questioning each meal. And no more weight and body fat fluctuations. Over the past few months of working with you I’ve seen my bodyfat and weight numbers just keep dropping and it was pretty easy. Looking back this is probably the best investment I’ve ever made in terms of personal fitness.
I went from doing 5-6 days a week P90x style workouts for over a year with no results after about 6 months, ‘eating clean’ and being very elitist about it all, it took over my life and was building a very unhealthy relationship with food and exercise. Thank god I found Andy and the other trainers and nutrition experts he recommends. My life is so much easier and this way of eating and training has enhanced my life, not defined it! For anyone wanting to get a top physique, with minimum effort, backed by real science, not promoting stupid supplements and best of all, freeing yourself from an unhealthy relationship with food.
I must say Andy what you’ve helped me do has given me back something I thought I was never going have again due to my knees, I can’t really express how much of a positive impact this has had on my life and my family’s. You have really helped me, improved my quality of life greatly and should rightly proud of what you’re doing for a living.
This has been the easiest weight loss I’ve ever done. To be more exact, I should say fat loss and muscle gain. I don’t even want to call it a diet, but cause your program encapsulates every aspect of my life: Eating, sleeping, when to eat, when to lift, how to lift, etc. I’ve tried various “diets” throughout my life, but they were either physical fitness only or eating only. Your program works and I’ve enjoyed every part of the journey.
I had the pleasure of working with Andy this past summer and I have to say my life has literally only changed for the better. He tells you what you need to know and that’s it. I’ve made so much progress and only plan on continuing thanks to Andy. The only downside to working with Andy is that too many people will begin to tell you that you’re getting too cut! Never mind them…
The coaching program taught me to really focus on what matters. I was able to see what Andy cared about most, and learned to simplify dieting and strength training. It basically the least effective dose possible to achieve the results I was looking for. It allowed me a lot of room for error and still succeed. Most importantly, his coaching taught me to learn my own body. I am now able to confidently diet at any time if needed. I no longer worry about a lot of the things like I used to. And finally, dieting isn’t stressful anymore.
Not only was being accountable to you as a coach tremendously helpful and motivating, but you *definitely* have a bit of secret sauce in terms of moving macros around to fit the needs of the client. I can only speak for myself, but the progress after you tweaked some things in the fourth week was really amazing. Most importantly, thanks to your guidance, I feel ready to step out on my own. It really feels like you’ve taught this man how to fish.
I’m so happy with the progress I’ve made over the last 12 weeks. I looked at the before and after pictures and I don’t think they totally do justice to where I am. I have the confidence that I will take it even further and I’ve been getting comments from friends, family and coworkers about how good I look and I’m really looking forward to seeing my abs, for probably the first time in my life!
In sum: I dropped 8-9 real lbs (exclusive of ~2-3lbs water weight) and experienced lifting volume and max load gains; the gains were mostly technique based but as we discussed the goal of the cut was not to gain muscle mass but to preserve it and I think that was accomplished. All in all, best fitness money I ever spent. Andy’s projections were right on the money without requiring unsustainable levels of attention to diet.
Ultimately, it boiled down to accountability. Me being accountable taught me more than anything I ever read and has made this so much easier. I truly believed that change would happen for me.
I am truly appreciative. Thank you.
I’ve tried several diets and workouts but what has adapted to my routine and earned me excellent results is your online coaching. I have to admit that at first I was left with doubts about making an online coaching but today recommend to everyone who has discipline and want consistent results.
The coaching experience was GREAT. Although your guidelines on the website are pretty detailed, the fact that you are “there” is what makes the difference, also the “I’ve already paid for this, I better do it right” is a great motivator.
I feel the most valuable part was learning how to track my progress and making my own simplified rules.
This has been an interesting and at times very tiring 12 weeks. I am really pleased. I have a whole new understanding of how nutrition works in general and how the cycling of carbs and fat works in particular. My main reason for contacting you in the first place was to get the hang of bulking in a functioning way and I really think that this is the way forward for me. Also, this got me to include fruits and vegetables and that will have really long term benefits. My strength is returning fast and without a doubt, I will surprise my previous strength before reaching my starting weight.I feel really good and even though I have a long time before I reach my final goal I have a clear trajectory going forward.
A big thank you for all the help so far.
You’ve been great to work with, and this is the easiest diet I’ve ever been on. You’re talking to a guy that in the past had an Excel spreadsheet where he would figure out what he was eating every single morning – down to “I need 5g more of fat, so I’ll have a half a tbsp of butter on my 17 oz of sweet potato.” (That’s what I lovingly refer to as “my starvation diet.” If you’re interested, I’ll type out a full description of it, even though it will lead to you making the sign of the cross and praying that you don’t lose your gains secondhand.) In comparison, this doesn’t even feel like dieting most of the time.
As a Coach myself, I can easily speak to the power of hiring someone to take care of making the difficult decisions for you. I was losing my objectivity and the stress of daily life had taken its toll – and I had put in a good deal of weight.
Working with you has been an excellent experience. Being able to release myself from the mental rigors of self-evaluation and decision making has been a godsend for my stress levels as well as my personal time expense. Doing is always easier than contemplating – and you helped cure the “paralysis by analysis” a bit.
The experience has been invaluable – thanks again for your help – 23 pounds on the scale and around 8-9 centimeters off the belly. I feel like my old self again.
Andy, many thanks for all that you’ve taught me. I am not one to lack for discipline, so at various times during my life, I’ve achieved the body aesthetic and fitness level of my goals by prioritizing them to the exclusion of everything else.
That meant taking some pretty extreme measures that didn’t allow for much life balance or offer a chance at sustainability. When we started 12 weeks ago, I was coming off a shoulder injury, out of shape and unhappy with the way that I looked. I followed your program, but I also traveled and lived a NYC lifestyle while photographing and measuring my way to documented progress each and every week.
There’s a lot of fun planned over my next 12 weeks, and for the first time in my life, I know I can have that fun and complete the progress towards my goals. There are many paths to fitness and a body you’re proud of, so thank you for chartering a course that I’m able to turn into a lifestyle, stick with and enjoy.
Time has really flown by, also I think having an infant to take care of seems to make time fly by even faster for me lol. I am extremely pleased with my results thus far, I actually may have to go buy some new pants since my waist has leaned out so much even wearing a belt isn't helping lol.
And it’s pretty cool to tell people that I only work out 3 times a week and don’t do any cardio.
I know some p90x people that really beat themselves up 5+ days a week and it pains me when I see that they aren’t having anywhere near the results I have had.
Great final advice and really detailed on how to move forward. I really appreciate it, as well as all the work you have helped me with! It's given me a new lease of life.
I hadn’t actually looked at the pictures from 12 weeks ago but I was amazed how much I’ve changed. This has given me even more motivation. I will keep taking pictures and recording stats and give you an update in a couple of months. Hopefully, you will be impressed.
When you start working with clients again please let me know and count me in!!!
I’ve learned so much.
The importance of consistency, patience, and analysis are my key takeaways.
Consistency helped create measurable outcomes. In turn, measuring helped assess and manage progress.
Patience fed consistency and prevented the temptation to make arbitrary changes and ruining
progress. Analysis bound all of the above together. I’ve learned to analyze my movement during training,
differentiate between hunger and greed in my diet; identify and address negative thoughts; and during my injuries,
it helped me study my movement to locate myofascial idiopathies that needed work.
Another huge learning was being able to identify how much harm bro-science and the supplement
industry is doing to the minds of naive punters like myself pursuing physique goals. But most of all, I have
developed a pathological hatred towards infomercials that sell gadgets promising 2-minute abs!!!
Thanks for this opportunity Andy, much appreciated.
You’re doing a FANTASTIC JOB, and I’m very happy with the services you
have provided (and no doubt I will carry all the knowledge with me forever).
It’s a good sign when I’m actually at a loss for things to ask because I KNOW you’ve answered it in your incredibly well-structured information package in the consultation email.
Your input, check-ins, and support have helped me see that getting fit also includes enjoying myself.
Having your objective viewpoint and reassurance (getting impatient/unsure with my goals caused me to spin my wheels) kept me on track and allowed me to learn how to correctly execute on my diet and training. I look forward to posting updates as I continue to reach my goals and will continue to keep an eye on your site for the great articles and advice.
Thank you so much for everything, I’m so pleased with the changes! It’s been such a massive help having somebody to guide and advise- if nothing else, it’s reassuring to hear someone say “it’s OK to eat X amount of carbs/fat/protein etc.”
Otherwise, it’s very easy to not know whether what you’re doing will damage your progress or help it.
I’ve been very surprised that the changes happened so quickly, I didn’t think my body would change this much in a few weeks!
To Andy, the man who helped me change my view on diet and training.
I’m really happy with our collaboration and I’m gonna recommend you to anyone who asks me questions about how I got “ripped”.
Of course, I’ll send them to your website first and help them get started with IF to see if they are up for the challenge.
Thank you for your help and guidance.
I have been aiming for these results for a couple of years and finally, I’m on the right path to success!
I’d like to thank you again for your advice and professionalism. I really like your polite-direct style.
When I first started working with you, my girlfriend was really scared. She thought I was joining the Islamic State of nutrition or something worst, but we could figure out a way to make our meals work together, and now she is jealous of my progress. Your clear guidelines and directions made the process a lot easier.
I like to think that we could have been good friends if we had met in person.
Over all the whole experience has been great and I’m really happy with the results. For the first time ever I can honestly say I WILL reach my goal! and for that, I have you to thank.
I can’t thank you enough for your support and guidance but most importantly your unwavering commitment, to be honest with your clients and not trading your honor and integrity for dollars.
Please keep up the exceptional work you do, the content of your website and the guidance you give, not just your clients but to anyone curious enough to ask a question is invaluable to those of us determined to reach our goals.
Working with Andy was great. It took all the uncertainty out of whether I was doing Leangains the right way. If it had not been for his help I would have followed Leangains for a month or so and once my weight loss slowed down I would move on to something else and concluded that Leangains was ineffective. His system for measurement, patience and his assurance that everything is as it should be guided me through a personal breakthrough.
In 12 weeks of working with him, I lost a total of 23 lbs. and 10cm off my stomach and I gained the knowledge and confidence for what I will be doing in the future without his guidance.
Thanks for all the help over the last 12 weeks. I’m grateful that you took me on considering I had no real lifting experience.
Everything was laid out very well before the program started and the I was very clear in what the process would involve. The information you provided was easy to understand and apply, which made everything much easier for me.
As others have written, diet was always my weak point and I found that training alone would only get me so far. Thanks to your help I’m now not only lighter than I’ve ever been in my adult life, I’m much more toned and have the knowledge to repeat the processes of cutting again whenever I should need to.
It’s great that all the information is provided for free on your site, but I found the online training suited me as there was an added aspect of accountability. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the same service to anyone I know who’s serious about making changes.
I’m looking forward to the slow bulk and the pleasures of eating all those extra calories after 3 months of restraint!
You taught me patience. I was really impatient in the first month where the scale weight is going up consistently and the mirror was showing no change. You told me to rely on the measurements. You didn’t change my macros and I was really concerned.
But I felt the clothes are fitting me well and I actually started getting compliments from my colleagues at office and my wife. I realized the bigger picture of being patient and the truthfulness of your words ‘don’t change anything which is working’. My strength gains were surprising me and my gym mates. I felt great about it... In no time I was squatting and Deadlifting 140Kgs.
I felt accountable to you. I chose carefully what I eat and never missed a single training day in this 12 weeks. I wanted to show you progress consistently and you were right in saying that hiring a coach makes you accountable and thereby increase your performance and efforts. I am glad that you were my coach.
I really appreciate and admire the simplicity of his methods. The fitness world is jam packed full of confusion, and to be honest, bullshit. Andy's writings and ideas are a welcome break from all of that. They’re intelligent, informative, and thorough.
Just wanted to give an informal thank you for what you’ve done. I’ve already recommended you to others and referred several people to your blog. That, as well as your coaching, has taught me a lot and I’m grateful for that.
It has been great to learn to be more patient, be more consistent, honest, and hardworking, and I’ve seen increases in strength that I’m happy with, but also motivated and inspired to continue. It was important for me to see that even with a coach, I don’t make huge changes overnight.
Rather, with consistent efforts and proper guidance, I’ve been able to do things I previously wasn’t.
Thank you for your help with the progress.
After 15 years of bro-science and several £’s spent on supplements, I have finally broken from the chains of being a perpetual beginner.
12 weeks after my initial consultation I have made great “visible” progress on my journey to my washboard.
Highly recommended and even though Andy provides the knowledge to continue independently I will be using his services again in the future.
Thank you, Andy!
Overall a great experience. I’ve lost around 9KG and 7CM around the stomach.
While I don’t care so much about the immediate results, what matters to me is that I’ve been introduced to the tools necessary to lose fat/gain muscle – something I will use independently for the rest of my life. That’s why I didn’t care to pay a certain amount of money for this service. I viewed it as a paid coaching which I’ll use indefinitely afterward.
If you’re like me before I participated in this coaching – dabbling from one diet to another, lacking ways to measure progress – then this is for you.
I approached Andy after running a Marathon in May 2014. I wanted to streamline my diet and training and make it easier.
I basically started from scratch with Andy’s advice and after 12 weeks, I can honestly say I am very happy with the results. I hope to one day have a transformation good enough to make his results page. I’ll be carrying on with the same program and diet Andy outlined for me.
Looking forward to it!
Thanks for everything, Andy.
The best part about this was not just getting the results, it’s KNOWING how you got the results.
This really made this such a rewarding experience. And then realizing that it’s not “hard” to get them, you just have to be patient and consistent. Also, knowing that there is so much bullshit out there that just confuses everyone. No wonder people chase this goal for so long.
Anyway, It’s been a fun journey. Life changing actually…
You said to me in one of your opening emails that you wanted the money I spent on your services to be the best money I have ever spent. I can tell you with all honesty that you have succeeded.
Before seeking your advice I had no shortage of discipline, but I was lacking direction for the discipline that I had.
You have shown me the direction to go in and my results from the first part of the 12 weeks (before I was in Perth) show what a powerful combination these two things are. I am confident going forward that my body will progressively improve until it is at my desired level. I feel that you have shown me how to apply my discipline to my diet for greatest effect.
I thank you for your services and for your expertise.
I think the the best thing that came out from your coaching was that I could relax more, and by that I mean that since I trust your judgement I didn’t spend that much unnecessary time thinking about my macros, if I stalled, changing training routine. I could just think ”coach Morgan knows best, just stick to the plan” and wait things out where I previously most probably had been lying awake at night, staring at the roof and thinking about macros. Since I need to be creative in my work, canceling out these kind of nagging thoughts have made my work and life SO much better.
Before that, I spent so much time dwelling about all these things, and I want my life to be more than just my training.
My friends were a bit puzzled about me paying a coach pretty much just to baby-sit my macros, but I know from experience that I perform better when I have someone to report to beside myself. I also know that I tend to be to harsh with some parts (like setting my calorie deficit to high) and maybe be a bit to liberal with other things (like adding cardio to make up for time spent at the pub). I would most probably not have managed leave things unchanged after two weeks of weight stall if it wasn’t for you.
And I learned that potatoes are awesome! All hail to the Potato.
I feel awesome about the results and the whole program — lots of fat loss on the stomach, and it’s really helped me get it “figured out” how to get lean in the right way, and without having to eat some ridiculous diet and stress over exactly what I’m eating. Also really happy with the fact that my lifts didn’t drop even with a 10 lb weight loss.
Would highly recommend Andy’s program — well worth it!
For those that are thinking about hiring you, I advise them to not hesitate!
Working with you has been very simple & straightforward, and your advice was very easy to follow. The results I have had have been so impressive, more than I had imagined. The best thing I have learn learnt is simplicity and patience.
Keeping things simple with food and training has really benefitted me and this helps to no end with diet adherence and consistency. All in all, I have learnt so much about training and nutrition, about my body, and about the amounts of myth surrounding nutrition.
I am now knowledgeable enough to be able to get the body I want, and I know it wont be long until I have it.
Your system is a lifelong system to stick by, not just a 12 week diet.
PS – I applied your knowledge to my wife who has done zero weights or cardio, and she has now also lost 20lbs in weight, and embraced this lifestyle change fully. Thank you so much!
I wouldn’t have bet but I trusted your advise would work and just followed your instructions as closely as I could.
Couldn’t be simpler at the time you replied, I was pretty close to hitting my pre diet weight, maybe a few hundred grams off only. I think I only gained about 1.5kg max while eating my pizzas and burgers so that didn’t worry me too much. I look forward to seeing what I look like in 4-6 weeks. Will definitely send you pics.
Ps. Had to do a lot of clothes shopping recently. Pants keep falling down haha, even my belt needs another notch
